We build software for the next generation of teams.

ArcPatch Labs is an independent product studio. We design and operate our own web, mobile, and desktop products.

Three surfaces, one standard of craft.

Web applications

Fast, accessible interfaces built to hold up under real usage — not demo-day polish that falls apart in production.

react · next.js

Mobile applications

Native-quality experiences for iOS and Android, built by people who use the platforms they design for.

swift · kotlin

Desktop applications

Focused tools built around a specific, real problem — designed to be operated for years, not shipped and abandoned.

electron · native

An independent studio, not an agency.

ArcPatch Labs is a small, independent software company. We don't take on client work — we build, own, and operate our own products.

That means slower, more deliberate choices: fewer products, built with more care, kept in the market long enough to actually get better. We'd rather ship one thing well than ten things adequately.

Right now, that means most of our work is happening quietly. What follows is where things stand.

We're building software that gives people their time back.

Modern work has become unnecessarily complicated. Too many tools, too many workflows, and too much time spent managing the work instead of doing it. We exist to make the important work simpler.

less complexity

Make complicated things feel simple.

Powerful software shouldn't require users to understand the machinery behind it. We turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences.

Automate the repetitive work so teams can spend more time thinking, creating, and making decisions.

built for humans

Technology should adapt to people.

We design around how people actually work — not around technical limitations or outdated processes.

real impact

Software should move work forward.

We care about outcomes, not feature counts. Every part of our product exists to help customers accomplish something meaningful.

The manifesto we actually run the studio on.

Being a studio instead of an agency isn't a tagline — it changes what we say yes to. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, whether or not anyone is watching.

01
“We ship when it's ready, not when it's scheduled.”

A slipped date is recoverable. A broken product isn't. We'd rather move a milestone than move the quality bar.

02
“Transparency. Always.”

Roadmaps, pricing, outages, mistakes — in the open. You should never have to guess what we're doing or why.

03
“Boring infrastructure, interesting products.”

We spend our novelty budget where users can feel it, and reach for dull, proven technology everywhere else.

04
“No clients. Only ownership.”

We don't take briefs or chase statements of work. We build, own, and operate everything we ship.

05
“Small team, long horizon.”

We'd rather run one product for a decade than ten products for a quarter. Compounding beats volume.

06
“Taste is a feature.”

Safety, speed, and simplicity are design decisions. So is the way something feels the moment you open it.

six principles

How an idea becomes a product here.

01

Discover

Identify a problem worth solving — one we understand firsthand, not one we inferred from a market report.

02

Build

Turn the idea into a working product, cutting anything that doesn't serve the core use case.

03

Launch

Put it in front of real users early, before it feels finished, and pay close attention to what happens next.

04

Improve

Keep iterating based on actual usage. A product's first release is a starting point, not a finish line.

Safe, fast, and simple to use — nothing else matters.

SAFETY SPEED SIMPLICITY
01

Safety

Software people can trust with their data and their time. We default to the conservative choice, test for the failure case first, and never ship something we wouldn't rely on ourselves.

02

Speed

Every interaction should feel instant. We treat performance as a feature, not an afterthought — measured, budgeted, and protected release after release.

03

Simplicity

The best interface is the one you don't have to think about. We cut features before we cut clarity, and we'd rather do less, well, than more, poorly.

How we use AI in our products.

For a safe and sustainable future. We treat AI as a tool for building better software, not a feature to bolt on for its own sake — used deliberately, disclosed clearly, and always in service of the person using the product.

01

Assistive, not autonomous

AI helps our products respond faster and work smarter, with a person always able to see and override what it's doing.

02

Efficient by default

We favor small, well-scoped models over brute force — better outcomes without the unnecessary cost to people or the planet.

03

Private by design

Your data trains nothing it doesn't need to. We build with the same safety principle we apply everywhere else.

A future where software gets out of the way

We believe the best software isn't the software you spend your day managing. It's the software that quietly removes friction and helps you move forward.

intelligent by default

Software that understands the work.

We're moving toward products that can understand context, anticipate needs, and handle more of the work automatically.

one connected experience

Fewer tools. Less switching.

The future isn't another collection of disconnected apps. We're building toward a more unified way to get work done.

human in control

Automation without losing control.

We want technology to handle the busywork while people stay in charge of the decisions that matter.
